This site will be the hub for this class. I will post assignments, info, and deadlines. You, in turn, will blog and communicate here or on your own blog. Post new ideas, your reflections, and cool stuff that you find.

Password FormThis class will require the use of a number of websites. Many of these sites require usernames and passwords. Some usernames and passwords have been assigned to you, while others you may choose. To keep track of all this information, I created a Password Form for you to use.
Download the form (see right). Click "Save As" > PDF. Save it in your My Documents folder. Title it something relevant, such as "Password Form." Once saved, you can fill in the form by clicking on the appropriate box and typing. Be sure to keep track of all the websites you use, and never share this document with anyone. |

Me, Myself, and I
Respond to the following questions via a podcast, short video, or other multimedia platform of your choosing. Get creative -- don't simply read off a "Q&A" session. Incorperate your answers in a thoughtful, planned way.
1. Think of a person who made a positive difference in your life. What qualities does that person possess that you would like to develop?
2. Imagine 20 years from now--you are surrounded by the most important people in your life. Who are they and what are you doing?
3. If a steel beam (6 inches wide) was placed across two skyscrapers, for what would you be willing to cross? (ex. A thousand dollars? A million? Your pet? Your brother? Fame?)
4. If you could spend one day in a great library studying anything you wanted, what would you study?
5. List ten things you love to do. It could be singing, dancing, reading magazines, drawing, reading, daydreaming... absolutely anyting you absolutely love to do!
6. Describe a time when you were deeply inspired.
7. Five years from now, your local paper does a story about you and they want to inteview three people: a parent, a brother or sister, and a friend. What would you want them to say about you?
8. Think of something that represents you (a rose, a song, an animal, etc.). Why does it represent you?

On your student site, drag and drop "paragraph with a picture" into your webpage.
Find a picture on flickr that represents what you are talking about.
Be sure to include a photo credit that has the rights (Creative Commons, All Rights Reserved, etc.) as well as the photo's owner. See below for an example.
Then, find a webpage that also talks about what you are talking about. You can use this to hyperlink later on. You can add a link by looking for the "link" button in the font bar (the one with Bold, Italicize, and Underline). Highlight the word you want, then click that button. Follow the directions from there.
